Glenwood Middle School will be looking for a new head wrestling coach for the 2012-2013 season. Glenwood High School is also looking for a new assistant wrestling coach. Glenwood High School has a large tradition of excellence at both the middle school and high school levels. The high school team finished in the elite 8 last year and this year won the regional and conference championship for the 3rd consecutive year.
Glenwood also has Ascension Wrestling Academy (www.ascensionwrestling.org) that works closely with district wrestlers as a successful offseason training tool for our youth club, middle school, and high school programs.
Glenwood High School is located in Chatham, Illinois which is 90 minutes north of St. Louis. Our high school enrollment is 1355 while our middle school enrollment is 654. Glenwood Schools are cosistently ranked in the top 50 as one of Illinois top schools.
