I hope this doesn't have implications on his ability to sign with the UFC in the future. A guy like Tyron could make it all the way to the top in the sport, and that top shows no signs of being anywhere BUT in the UFC. In fact the one weight class that the UFC has always held the #1 ranked guy in the world has been Welterweight (170). Even when Pride boasted a roster on par to the UFC and held the #1 ranked guy in a couple of weight classes, the UFC still held the #1 Welterweight.
I guess my point is that I believe Tyron has a rare ability that will potentially lead him to be one of the few who could contend for that position in the future... but that position will almost certainly still be in the UFC. If Tyron's signing with EA Sports is a potential negotiations roadblock with the UFC in the future (Dana White has stated this publically) then that pretty much well sucks.
